D'IMAG'E Legacy
Our Image, Our Likeness! Carrying On Tradition!
D'IMAG'E Legacy is the youth collection to accompany the adult counterparts of the D'IMAG'E brand. Since our children are a reflection of us as parents and will carry on the traditions and customs we pass along to them, we feel its important to begin to instill a since of pride and dignity in themselves as early as possible. The D'IMAG'E Legacy collection was built on this idea that if we get our youth to believe in their power early enough to offset any negative imagery and discouraging perspectives of who they can become, it can greatly change the trajectory of what they believe they can achieve. The pieces in the children's collection will maintain the brand's essence & sense of purpose with messages of cultural pride and belief in oneself remaining in tune with the parent/adult collections. Thus, the D'IMAG'E Couture tagline, 'Our Image, Our Likeness', pertains to both the parents/adults and the youth/children, in that, as parents we always want our children to be like mini versions of ourselves, at least until they get old enough to develop their own interests and aspirations. But also, as in the youth being able to have messages in the clothing that appeal to themselves and speak to their still developing sensibilities and personalities. Further, the D'IMAG'E Legacy specific tagline of 'Carrying On Tradition!' reflects that the youth brand with always pay homage to its fashion lineage and cultural ancestry.
