D'IMAG'E

D'IMAG'E Couture was the first signature brand envisioned under the D.M.I.G. Catalogue fashion house and is thus, considered our heritage collection. It evolved as an extension of D.M.I.G.'s intent on creating a clothing line that could evoke pride, dignity, and unity among people of the African diaspora but also maintain the manufacturing quality, and attention to detailed designing that has been associated with European fashion houses and high end designer lines. The name D'IMAG'E  was derived from the pronunciation of D.M.I.G., but also a play on the words 'The Image', as in, "Let us make Man in 'Our Image, Our Likeness!'". Thus, D'IMAG'E Homme was started as the men's apparel division, while the D'IMAG'E Femme & D'IMAG'E Legacy, divisions include products for both women and children, respectively. Overall, the D'IMAG'E brand is built upon the principles of knowledge of self and its acknowledgement of our linage to all ancient civilizations. Furthermore, D'IMAG'E Couture expresses this thru its deliberate messaging thru its vibrant designs, thought provoking artwork and constant symbolism to the proud true history of black civilizations from around the globe.
